Panda Dome Advanced offers enhanced ransomware defense and limited parental control not available in the company's cheaper apps, but its competitors have better protection against malware. The only way I get it to recognize that a USB flash drive is connected to the computer is that the user account has to be a member of the domain administrators group. It doesn’t even recognize that one has been connected to the computer. However the program will run this way but it will not auto vaccinate a USB flash drive when it is connected. I have also tried doing it as a login script assigned to the user in the GP and also a script assigned to the user in the Windows account section (this one is not via a GP but as the logon script in the profile tab of the user account). I dont know how well this works, or weather I could screw up portableapps as I use linux and havent tested. It appears that the start script is waiting for the USBVaccine.exe program to close before it continues and doesn’t like it to stay running. Panda will create a password protected autorun.inf file so viruses cannot modify it. This version includes a few bug fixes plus multi-lingual support. However implementations (the way it's done) are different. We recently released version 1.0.1.4 of Panda USB Vaccine. If I create the batch file with the command line and have a GPO run it as a start script assigned to the machine, it just seats there during start saying “Running start script…” and eventually times out.
